Yes, Cough. Booked match tickets today, block E331, row 15. I hope that's not too far up.

Reserved a couple of spots on the Hornchurch. Shall be boarding at Basildon.

I will avoid the vodka so I can remember the journey up this time. Or if I pack a little bottle, I'll be sure to have a hearty breakfast first, this time. Last time I thought I'd avoid constant pissing by sipping vodka until having a few beers at the pub stop off. It's worked for me in the past, but I had an empty stomach, so one second we were just leaving the M25 for the M1, the in the blink of my memory's eye, I was standing outside Old Trafford.

As in a dream, I didn't even question this until after the match, when I asked my mate "Were't we supposed to stop off in Warrington?" He looked at me as if I was mad and said "We DID! You don't remember?"

I remembered fuck all, except a few gariny snapshots after some memory prompts. All I'll say is I will buy a bunch of flowers for the landlady, as a sincere apology, if we go back to the same pub.


No fuck it. No vodka. :-/
